Bradford Camps, in the North Maine Woods, is a picturesque retreat and one of Maine's oldest established sporting and fishing camps, dating back to the 1890s. Nestled on Munsungan Lake, a private, undeveloped lake, this remote oasis includes 8 historic log cabins with full baths, a main lodge with a commercial-grade kitchen, 3 docks, and a large garden for provisions. Guests enjoy some of the best fishing in Maine, on one of the top salmon lakes with plentiful wild brook trout in outlying ponds and streams, and trophies up to four pounds. Bradford Camps also includes two outpost camps: A single cabin on Bluffer Pond; and two cabins on Reed Pond in the largest old growth forest in New England giving anglers access to the rare blueback char. A well-established guide service is in place to provide guests with the best possible experiences. Bradford Camps serves fishing groups, hunters (bird hunting and big game) and vacationing families, hosting up to 24 guests in the eight cabins. The property also includes an owner's cabin, various staff cabins, and other necessary outbuildings for fuel, storage, and more. Located on approx. 19 acres of leased land under a long-term contract deep within the wilderness area known as the North Maine Woods, an area over 3.5 million acres and one of the last remaining unbroken forests in the eastern United States.
